I spent all day today reworking :hover in Safari. I fixed the repainting problems that exist in v51 when using :hover with positioned elements. I also now have Safari working flawlessly with Eric Meyer's Pure CSS Menus. I haven't tested them yet, but I'm fairly certain that Safari will also now work with his Pure CSS Popups demos as well.

The system font panel is a very flexible user interface for selecting and managing
collection of fonts. Whenever I demo this to even seasoned Mac OS X users, they
are blown away by the flexibility. All Cocoa applications use the font panel
implicitly and with the Jaguar release, Carbon applications can add it to their
feature set. Here's a series of screen shots that show the flexibility of the
panel.

W3C Launches Timed Text Working Group. 17 January 2003: W3C is pleased to announce the creation of the Timed Text Working Group (TTWG) within the SYMM (Synchronized Multimedia) Activity. The TTWG is chartered to develop an XML based format used to represent streamable text synchronized with timed media like audio or video.
